Welcome to the Etowah County School District Information Technology Department Web site. The goal of our site is to provide you with useful information about our department that we hope makes it easier for you to understand our mission and goals.

Our primary mission is to provide training and the technology to equip the students, teachers, administrators, and support staff in the Etowah County School District to utilize the most current technological tools available. It is our goal that all students in the Etowah County School District learn to utilize technology as a tool to be functional and competitive in a global workplace and to become lifelong learners.

The Etowah County School District IT Department currently oversees the maintenance of over 4000 computers, twenty-one local area networks and a system-wide area network that connects all classrooms and all schools to the Internet and to the Central Office. Our six technicians service all twenty-one locations in the Etowah County District.
