Etowah County has preschool-inclusive classrooms in the following schools:

Highland Elementary – 3K - must be 3 years old on or before 09/01/2024

Whitesboro Elementary – 4K – must be 4 years old on or before 09/01/2024

Southside Elementary – 4K - must be 4 years old on or before 09/01/2024

Hokes Bluff Elementary – 4K – must be 4 years old on or before 09/01/2024

We will hold screening appointments for typical peers during the week of February 19-22, 2024 at each school:

Feb. 19: Southside Elementary

Feb. 20: Whitesboro Elementary

Feb. 21: Hokes Bluff Elementary

Feb. 22: Highland Elementary

A random drawing to award spots will be held on March 1, 2024. If you would like for your child to be placed on the interest list for a screening appointment please call:

The last day to sign up for screening appointments will be February 5, 2024.
