- General information and certain documentation is required from all non-faculty workers. This information must be received Each Year BEFORE the non- faculty worker can begin working or volunteering, even if they worked or volunteered the previous year. Also, Fingerprint/Background check status must be clear before they will be placed on Board Meeting Agenda.
- If the non-faculty worker has been fingerprinted through the Alabama State Department of Education, they will not have to be fingerprinted again.
- If the non-faculty worker has been screened with their social security number through the Volunteer Background Screening Service listed on our website, they will need to complete the process each year. This service does not track individuals past the point of the initial screening. The average cost is approximately $25.00, depending on national screening by county.
2. All non-faculty workers must be APPROVED by the Board before they begin working.
This includes paid workers and volunteers. A letter from the school Principal will be required to have a non-faculty worker approved by the Board.
